2001- 2004
| The Show’s not over ‘til the fat lady sings |

(Released November 2004) |
Never has this adage been more prophetic than on the occasion of Kashan’s 2004 year-end function!
With our loyal clients and staff all lined up for a genteel evening of accolades, whiskey tasting, fine food and camaraderie al fresco, the heavens opened. Until that point the media had predicted drought and severe water restrictions for the Gauteng region so we were not entirely unhappy with the deluge, but realised that speeches would have to be delivered at several tens of decibels above normal to compete with the pounding rain.
Having no sooner got our minds around that one, and between bolts of lightning and roaring thunder, we received a call from The College of Whiskey to say that their presenter had experienced a heart attack in his car en route to our event! (The good news is that he got himself to hospital and is again flourishing – but we only heard that some days later).
Shaken, and for a while at a loss as to what to do, we finally persuaded The College of Whiskey to send the ‘goods’ on anyway and thanks to some outstanding ad libbing from the ‘gent’ doing the delivery and the commendable involvement of our clients – you are all stars – we all ended up having an incredibly good evening. Now here’s to 2005!

| Kashan gets Full Accreditation |

(Released January 2001) |
Kashan gets Full Accreditation The Kashan Group ended the year 2000 with the news that it has been granted full accreditation by the Corporate SMME Development Forum (CSDF).
The CSDF was initiated as an alliance of South African Corporations to promote and (as the name indicates) further the development of SMMEs, in line with sound business practice.
Corporate Members of the CSDF have access via the CSDF web site (www.csdf.co.za) to lists of suppliers who have been accredited. For these Corporates, accreditation by the CSDF means that the supplier has been fully audited and complies with stringent business, marketing and financial criteria. In addition, equity owner status (PDI and female complement) is assured.
The Kashan Group's full accreditation means that it is now the only fully comprehensive communications company listed by the Corporate SMME Development Forum, the South African Excellence Foundation and the Print Media Association. Clients are assured that they are using the services of company which fully subscribes to and meets government economic development initiatives.
